For Florence Marceau, clothing should no longer be a constraint, but a companion.

The concept of La 8ème Fois is based on a biological reality: a woman's body changes. This evolution first occurs daily, sometimes in just a few hours due to digestive variations or a bloated stomach in the evening. It is also dramatically felt during the menstrual cycle, a period when one can easily go up a size in a few days.

Whether during pregnancy, the transitional period of postpartum, or at menopause, the garment adjusts to the current silhouette.

Finally, this commitment also directly affects health and intimate well-being. For women living with conditions such as endometriosis, adenomyosis, or lipedema, getting dressed finally becomes a pleasure.

But how exactly does it work?

All of Florence Marceau's ingenuity lies in the total discretion of the mechanisms. The goal is simple: the garment must change size without it being noticeable, so that aesthetics remain the priority.

To successfully cover three sizes in one, the designer has devised a clever buttoning system, concealed inside the waistband.
This device allows for navigation between several sizes within the same piece, thus offering unprecedented adjustability.

To go even further in cutting precision, a tightening buckle is added to the back of pants, shorts, and dresses.
This detail allows the garment to be custom-fitted to perfectly match the curve of the back or the slenderness of the waist.

Whether you are a size 38 in the morning and need a 40 or 42 after lunch or during your cycle, the garment will not gape or compress.

La 8ème Fois is not just inclusive. It is also deeply responsible, as the designer oversees her entire creation process in Île-de-France.

Artisanal design: Florence makes the prototypes and toiles herself before collaborating with a pattern maker.

The choice of upcycling: Rather than creating new materials, Florence sources "sleeping stock." These are rolls of super-quality fabrics, often from major fashion houses, that have never been used. She recovers them and gives them a second life for her collections.

Social commitment: The clothes are manufactured in Paris and in the 93 department, particularly in Pantin. Florence also collaborates with an ESAT - Establishment and Service of Aid through Work - a workshop that supports people with disabilities to help them reintegrate through sewing trades.
